Sandhwanam, a non-profit organization, which was started by a dedicated team of social workers in May 2000, and was formally inaugurated on September 2000 appreciating our endeavors, The state Government’s statutory
body-ORPHANAGE CONTROL BODY- has granted us recognition. The present home of our children is located at behind of Kalamassery Medical College gifted by Rotary Club of Cochin Central at Sivagiri jn, Aluva east (2 km
distance from Kalamassery co operative Medical College).
Our Children
The children of Sandhwanam are those Angels of God, Sandhwanam provide them unconditional Love, Care and Kind heart to these Angels, who are gift of God.
Education and health care of the children are given prime importance. Special efforts are made to make the children proficient in skills to facilitate their total integration back to the main stream of our society, to mould each and every one of them as tomorrow’s citizens in whom the future of our great nation vests.

We aim to provide a platform for the isolated and downtrodden in the society with the objective of ensuring social
justice to the deserving citizens of tomorrow, updating the strive for equality among all us guaranteed in our

Radha Menon heads the organization with the help of a team of kind hearted people and dedicated staff consisting
of social activists, professionals, engaged in various arenas look after these children with utmost care and caution
they need, with the strive to nature them back to the good walks of life. A homely and loving atmosphere is
maintained at our home.
